Happy Retirement to Dr William Maiers and Welcome to new DDS

Greenhill Family Dental is happy to announce that Dr William Maiers has retired January 1st, 2024, after serving Cedar Valley as a General Dentist for 38 years. Our two new Dentist Dr Reed Maiers and Dr Rachel Hart both Cedar Falls natives will be providing excellent care to our patients.

Reed Maiers, D.D.S.

Dr. Reed Maiers is a 2023 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and a graduate of The University of Northern Iowa where he majored in Accounting while minoring in Chemistry. Dr. Maiers grew up in Cedar Falls and is thrilled to be returning to his hometown.

Throughout dental school, Dr. Maiers enjoyed all aspects of dentistry, especially his Oral Surgery rotation and externship at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He is excited to be providing care to patients from Cedar Falls and the surrounding communities.

In his free time, Dr. Maiers enjoys spending time outside golfing with his dad, Dr. Bill Maiers, and is also an avid supporter of UNI athletics.

Rachel Hart, D.D.S.

Rachel- art Dr. Rachel Hart is a 2023 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and a graduate of the University of Iowa where she majored in Biology and minored in Spanish. Dr. Hart grew up in Cedar Falls and is also excited to be returning to her hometown.

During her time in dental school, Dr. Hart enjoyed all the varied aspects of dentistry, especially her pediatric and geriatrics and special needs rotations. She is excited to be providing care to patients of all ages in the Cedar Valley.

Dr. Hart is married to Francis, a civil engineer at WRH, Inc. in South Amana. In her free time, Dr. Hart enjoys reading and attending the Cedar Falls Farmers Market.

Dr. Maiers, Dr. Hart, and her husband Francis have been friends since childhood, and all are high school graduates of Waterloo Columbus.
